Meet The Team
Austin Menger, Ph.D.
Based out of New York NY, Austin has experience in Data Science both at established and start-up companies alike. His path toward Data Science has its roots in running models within highly constrained legacy infrastructures at Consolidated Edison and Reed Exhibitions. Austin was then brought in to build and lead the Data Science team at New York Engineers. Such a role offered insight into Data Analysis within a more fluid start-up environment. Austin holds a Ph.D. in Statistics, going up to UConn to specifically work under Dr. Ming-Hui Chen studying Bayesian Survival Analysis. He also holds a Master's degree in Applied Analytics from Columbia University and has an undergraduate degree with honors in Mathematics from Georgetown University. He is a published author with an actively growing research portfolio.
Dylan helps lead Menger Analytics' efforts in Healthcare, with a specific focus on understanding the solutions available to self-ensured employers. Previously, Dylan worked at Warburg Pincus where he specialized in Healthcare & Software. He has an undergraduated degree with honors from Georgetown University in International Economics.
Yue is in the first year of her masters degree in financial mathematics at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management. Prior to starting her masters, she studied at Connecticut College majoring in Quantitative Economics. She is interested in the role of data science in portfolio optimization, focusing her efforts on modeling daily returns of the S&P500. Yue has worked as a research assistant at Harvard Business School and interned at local governments. In her free time, Yue likes to play chess, and she is on a mission of visiting all the national parks in America.
Steven is a student at Wake Forest University, studying statistical applications in business. He is a high school level tutor based out of Haddonfield NJ who focuses on Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus 1, AP Statistics, & Statistical Models. Steven has most recently joined the consulting effort as well, contributing to statistical modeling efforts in academic papers currently under review for publication.
Chelsea is a senior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Human Developmental and Family Science. Her interests lay at the intersection of analytics & social justice, with her work focusing to create equitable opportunities for minorities through the use of analytics. In her spare time, she likes to explore new areas and spend time with her friends.
Theodora is currently pursuing her masters degree in machine learning at Uppsala University in Sweden. Prior to starting her masters, she attended Connecticut College, majoring in Statistics and Data Science. She focuses on the use of statistical analysis to create and examine psychometric properties of measurement tools in fields that are traditionally qualitative. Theodora is also interested in applications of data science aiding in the digitalization of society, with past experience in applied robotics and a focus on the intersection between arts and technology.
Harshita is a sophomore pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics at the University of Connecticut. Having interned at Pfizer, she is interested in medical research and development, striving to find solutions to medical issues through statistical analysis. She works primarily with Hashemite University, leading efforts to help understand the role of smart phone addiction on social anxiety in the adolescent Jordanian population. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and visits India every year.
